A ready made bow tie of white, green, yellow, purple, black, blue, pink plaid, fancy weave silk. On the reverse there is an "R" to signify which side is "right," and a metal hook that would have fit over the collar button perfectly. It is possible that this bow was worn by a woman as it is small, and would have been appropriate with the tailored shirts c. 1890-1905.
