This cover is printed in sepia ink on a cream background. Above the title are the words, " Respectfully dedicated to the brave boys who marched in Malolos " In the lower left of the illustration are the words "A Souvenir of the Malalos Campaign."
The Spanish American War was a brief war in 1889, taking place in Cuba and the Philippine Islands.
