A label attached to the front of the photo says "A fun-loving NCO takes charge. Generally, anyone with a pen and paper is 'in charge.' 1965." Photo shows an ethnically diverse group of soldiers stading more or less in an organized group in front of a sergeant who is balancing his own gear and a clip board and pen while he shouts. The soldiers are all loaded with a variety of gear including their weapons (M-16?) and duffle bags. There appears to be a ship in the background.
