A label across the bottom of the photo, "The overseas movement of millions of tons of cargo and thousands of troops has been managed by base transportation professionals over the years. The last cargo ships called in 1968." Photo shows a large group of soldiers with all of their gear standing on a dock inbetween a train on the right side of the photo and a Navy ship, the General R.M. Blatchford, on the left side of the photo. The men appear to be waiting their turn to board the ship.
