Depiction: A Berkeley police officer stands on the shoulders of another as he unties the knot put in the rope which raises the American flag. Protestors had lowered the flag at Bancroft Way and Telegraph in Berkeley to half mast and tied the knot high up the pole so that it took two men to reach it and untie it.
