Depiction: A large crowd of protestors wind around a Berkeley street corner. A few carry signs, some of which read, "Councilmen, stop the war," "This is democracy?" "Must school children learn in terror," and "Give us flowers and grass not buckshot." There are many more women in this protest crowd than usually seen. Photo caption reads: "Mothers and children march down Berkeley's Shattuck Avenue. This is part of the group that came on bikes, tricycles and baby carriages." Three children stand with their mother at the front of the photo. They wear handwritten signs strung around their neck making reference to the People's Park.
