Depiction: Two Berkeley police, wearing gas masks, chase a crowd down a city street. A gas canister has just exploded to the right of the picture and people are jumping through the gas trying to get away. Photo caption reads: Tear Gas Time Again. People's Park followers who cut holes in the steel mesh fence surrounding the ground Monday flee before advancing police who have just thrown tear gas. Several hundred persons who milled around the park, now being converted into a parking lot by the University of California, cut numerous holes before the police dispersed them with tear gas.
