A young man is running past some police in front of the crowd and has just thrown the large white white of an effigy at one of the officers. Photo caption reads: The head of a nine-foot effigy of Judge Julius Hoffman hits a Berkeley police officer as a rally in support of the Chicago Seven breaks up and a march is started toward the heart of the town. Numerous windows were broken and there were clashes with police officers and some arrests were made.
