Description: A dozen children play around a pond which was mudhole filled with water. Behind them are two white houses and two businesses. There is also a traveling group of some sort, with a wagon and tent. Two men stand near it with their arms crossed. It is the Northeast corner of 10th and Washington streets in Oakland in 1884
