A mill by the stream, showing the water wheel, the mill pond, and the two-level, shingled, miller's house. The house is deliberately stylized and exaggerated. Its upper storey, which overhangs the lower storey, would be for the miller's living quarters, while the lower storey would house the millstone and related machinery. It is not clear whether the waterwheel is actually turning in this photo, but there is a waterfall at the end of the mill race. A stylized elf sits on the bank to the right of the waterwheel; he is fishing with a bent-branch fishing pole.
