This is a photo of a montage (?) in which the likeness of an African American man is posed in an upright rectangular box (a coffin?) with his back to the camera. The man (or mannequin ?) is clad in slacks and a white tee shirt, in which five bullet holes are shown in the man's upper torso. His head is bowed. Above his head is the portrait of a young black Afican American boy, so that the overall appearance is that of a continuous body, despite the slight separation by the top of a (painted?) brick wall, and by the boy's head facing outward . The man's well-muscled arms are extended from his sides at a 45 degree angle, with palms down. Inverted elongated keystones are painted on a white backdrop on each side of the box, and the appearance is that the man's palms are supporting the keystones.
