A view of a five-storey buidling remarkably similar in design to the the building in 2000.2.25. Both have arched windows on the top floor and similar rectangular windows on the 3rd and 4th floors. The bottom two loors are marked by a recessed area in front of the entrance of the building. A painted sign on the side of the building reads "Sterling Complete Home Furnishings." The building at left houses a TWA ticket office, and the roof line of this building is remarkably similar to the one on the right in 2000.2.25. The building at right has a Greek temple look to it [giving it a timeless appearance for its occupant?] housing Guaranty Savings. A sign on the street light in front of the building points to a "Shelter," probably indicating an Air Raid Shelter [erected during the Cold War]. Four automobiles are parked in front of the buidlings: a van with a Singer [sewing machine?] sign on its side panel, an unknown, a 1955 Mercury [?], and a 57 Ford sedan. The number 43399, belonging either to the photographer or the City, is inked in on the back of the photo.
