A view of three men looking into a vat, near two large cyldindrical tanks. According to the description, typed on a paper affixed to the back of the photo, what we are looking at is "Coordinator James H. Quinn (l) and Chairman William D. Drohan of the OIDC [Oakland Industrial Development Commission] (r) visit with Charles Kalajian, owner of the new White House Cleaning plant at 28th and Union Streets. Origianlly located at 40th and Telegraph Avenue, the plant was relocated after BARTD [Bay Area Rapid Transit District] purchased the property for a right-of-way. Assistance in relocating the plant was given by the Industrial Development Commission. The Plant employs 25 people. New Equipment has been installed throughout in the new location. Photograph
