A night time view of virtually the same scene as in 2000.2.48, with fewer cars parke on the streets. The photo is taken slightly farther back than in the daytime scene, so that a billboard, advertising Seagram's [Schenley's?] 7 Crown whiskey, on top of the corner building on the lelft side can be seen. The identifiable stores on the left side of the one-way street [possibly 14th] are Shoes [Gallen Kamp] and a luggage store. Goodwin's, on the corner, and Zukors are the only identifiable stores on the right side of the street. Since the photo is filed in the Department of Electricity folder, the street lights are the "raison d'etre" of the photo. The date, July 26, 1956, is stamped in on the back of the photo.
