A display case in the Natural Science Gallery in which a coyote is defending his kill [which appears to be a marmot JM 6/13/2000] from a wolverine on rocky ground. A typed description on a protective tissue covering reads: "Surprised by a larger predator, this coyote with his fresh kill, offers only an appearance of resistance to the the most fearsome foe in the High Sierra, the// wolverine."
