This is a photograph of a game between the Indianapolis Clowns and the Kansas City Monarchs on May 24, 1953. The attendance that day was 18,205. The photo shows a shot of the infield as it was seen from a fan in the stands. The grand stands are a major part of this photo. In the middle of the photo is home plate and to the right are the stands behind home plate. In progress is the game as the batter has hit the ball and is almost to first base and another runner is on his way to second base. This photo was taken when Toni Stone was playing for the Clowns.
