Artist Leta Ramos enjoys vintage clothing. In the 1960s and 1970s she especially enjoyed dressing in a very individualistic style which incorporated contemporary pieces and vintage pieces. These red suede and calf T-strap shoes with a woven design on the instep showing strips of the calf piercing the suede, make a sandal-like toe on the shoe, are examples of Leta's taste, style and wit in dressing. These particular shoes were a gift to her from artist Clayton Bailey's wife. A: The right shoe; B: the left shoe, which has "S. Patent Design 101508" stamped on the tan inner sole of the shoe.
