This collection of eight garments, worn by Nancy Reagan, when she was First Lady of California and the United States represents fashionable styles of several designers. This black wool crepe dress was made by designer Bill Blass around 1970. The dress has a jewel neckline and two stripes of black satin around the upper part of the dress. There is a kick pleat at center back of the dress. The sleeves open at the wrist with two covered buttons of black wool crepe and button loops of the same. The dress is fully lined in black. The dress opens at center back with an invisible zipper and a hook and eye at the neckline.
