Handwritten on the back of the photo, "Wind-jammer, built by Jack Irwin, 1909. Note- Horse cards on street." Photo shows a young Jack Irwin standing next to his "wind-jammer" in the middle of a residential street. The wind-jammer looks a bit like a motorcycle- two wheels with a tube-like body and a propeller and single cylinder engine mounted on the front. Jack is wearing coveralls and a cap on his head. The street is empty behind him, save for the "horse cards" (horse manure) in the middle of the street just behind where Jack is standing.
