The notation on the back of the photo reads "Parachute jump to open Air Show." A solo parachutist is about to land on the runway of the of the Livernore Municipal Airoport. Behind him a U.S. Flag floats to earth. Spectators line the edge of the runway on both sides of a low fence. In the foregroud, single-wing and biplane aircraft are lined up.
