The Tribune photo, dated July 16, 1961, has the following caption on the back: "AIRPORT EMERGENCY VEHICLES TOO SMALL, TOO OLD AND TOO WORN But safety recor prove they can still do the job," Fvie emergency vehicles lined up in front of a shop [?] building; starting with the nearest ones to the camera, they are two Port of Oakland hose trucks, a small unidentifiable truck, a U.S. Navy rescue vehicle, and another unidentifiable truck. Four rescue/firefighter personnel in coveralls stand at attention in front of the vehicles.
