The Tribune photo, dated September 27, 1989, has the following caption on the back: "Al Kolka capatures parachute team with camera." The handwritten notation on the back of the photo reads "Al Kolka of California Parachute club uses a camera mounted on his his jump helmet to capture his team in mid air formation. The Club is based in Livermore." A smiling Kolka poses for a photo, which shows the camera, an altimeter, and the lines of his presumably just-used chute.
