A typewritten notation affixed to the back reads " World Airways Hangar--This is is a concept of the 'super' hangar and maintenance complex to be built for World Airways, Inc at Metropolitan Oakland Airport at Oakland, California. The facility is being designed to accomodate the largest jet aircraft being built, the Lockheed C5-A. World Airways, Inc. plans to use the huge facility to consolidate its aircraft maintenaance, flight operations, and headquarters offices, which are now in several buildings at the old Oakland Airport."
