Leather saddlebag to accompany McClellan saddle. Saddlebag attaches to McClellan saddle stud at cantle. Each 'bag' has three straps and three buckles on the opening flap. Interior of both L & R bags contains smaller beige canvas pockets, Within hte L canvas pocket are three smaller canvas brawstring pouches. Inspector's mark on L side reading "1918" Spalding, Spalding Bros. (in circular emblem), and "W.I.B" initials. Each top flap of bag is embossed with "US" for US Cavalry.
