According to donor (Anne Ellinwood) in May of 2001, members of the group in the photograph are related to late San Francisco Mayer Rolph, then later Governor of California. The photo is of the March 23 1927 launch of the ferry boat "Lake Tahoe". Miss Helen Dyer is in center wearing a large floral corsage, with two gentlemen to her right (one with a mustache and a hat, and the other w/out a mustache holding a hat. A woman and a girl stand to her left. (DDR)
