The Tribune photo, dated July 22, 1989, has the following caption on the back: "Kyle Eiselroth, 4, of Martinez enjoyed sitting in the gun turret of the Army's new jeep. His brother Shawn, 7, waits his turn [from the driver's seat]" The Arny's new jeep is called the Hum-vee. This Hum-vee is at the Livermore Air Show.
