The handwritten notation on the back of the photo reads "Aerobatic Show The Dueling Pitts." Two biplanes, emitting smoke to enhance viewing from the ground, are engaged in aerobatics, while "fighting" a duel. The one at top center is higher than the one at the left center edge of the photo, which has wings and elevator painted in a radiating geomtric design emanating from the fuselag.
