Premis: Semper Fi' is a comic series about the US Marines role in various American conflicts. It follows one family, the Whittiers (who have been Marines since 1775), thru their experiences. Each issue includes two stories, each of different battles in different times. Story One: "Peacekeepers" American military presence in Beirut, Lebanon- deals with what their role is supposed to be, and what it really is. Story Two: "Wave of Death" Korea 1952, Chinese attacks at Marine outposts that are easily defeated. Cover: The cover shows two Marines in Beirut running through rubble to get to a Lebonese civilian who is trapped under a collapsed building. The Marvel sign in the upper left corner, is in the shape of a rectangle with the price, date and the Comic Code stamp, it also includes an image of a Marine in dress blues, the background color varies with no signifigance, there is also a balck and white spiderman mask in the lower left corner.
