This artifact is carved out of a piece of steatite into a cylinder. With the artifact secured in its frame, it is unclear whether or not the stone has been pierced through the center. If the stone does not have a hole through it, the artifact could be classified as a game piece instead of an ornament. The collector's notes for this artifact read: "Richmond Upper Mound, stone pieces."
