This artifact is made from a pear-shaped piece of geenish-gray stone that is thought to be serpentine. The piece has been carved and shaped, and a hole has been pierced through the top to allow the artifact to be worn as an ornament. The collector's notes for this artifact read: "San Leandro Mound, charmstone."
