Written in pencil on the back of the print, "Oak. Int. airport, [sic] 145 Kaiser Employee's Club going to Europe, Boeing 707 leaving for Europe prop plane is a Super Constellation, overseas airplane, history making for Aok. Airport, most people 145 biggest jet ever to take off from Oak Airport." Photo was taken from the tarmac looking back toward the terminal, the air traffic control tower is clearly visible. The photographer is standing just in front of the wing of the Super Constellation, so that one engine and a portion of the wing is visible in the foreground of the image. In front of the terminal is the Lufthasa Boeing 707. A large crowd of people is standing on an observation deck outside the terminal, these people are probably the Kaiser Employee's Club members waiting to board the plane.
