With our political campaign for Measure G, we used grassroots techniques in order to gain support by Oakland voters. Volunteers spent long hours combing the streets of Oakland, asking residents and businesses to display signs in their windows and on their lawns to show support for the Measure. This lawn sign was distributed to houses. In order to place the sign into the ground, a metal apparatus was given to the receiver. The lawn sign quickly became a favorite and a well sought out item by Oakland residents.
