Oakland celebrated its 150 birthday on May 4, 2002. This color poster was displayed around the city and around the museum. It shows the gondolas that have been giving rides (for a fee) on Lake Merritt for the last year or so; in the background are the Kaiser Oakland Auditorium and the courthouse. "Celebratge Oakland 150 Years"
