On April 20 2002, approximately 20,000 people participated in a peace march in San Francisco. The demonstration began at Dolores Park and ended at the city hall. Many causes were featured on posters. This poster is unique because it was hand-made and on cardboard. There are three people of color painted on the poster and, in red below them, is the plea "No Blood for Empire". On the other side the same three people are featured and there is a slogan below them in a form of a water drop. The slogan is "No More War."
