On April 20 2002, approximately 20,000 people participated in a peace march in San Francisco. The demonstration began at Dolores Park and ended at the city hall. Many causes were featured on posters. This poster is in regards to the Free Mumia campaign. There is, in large black lettering, on the top of the poster a cry to "Overturn the Conviction." This is in reference to the guilty verdict in the Mumia trial. Next, in the center of the poster, is an image of Mumia Abu-Jamal. The image is in black, white, and red. Underneath it in red ink is the information of the origins of the poster: "The mobilization to free Mumia Abu-Jamal" ; phone number: 415-695-7745; and url: www.freemumia.org. Below this information is an ensignia of Allied Printing and Inkworks Press.
