On April 20 2002, approximately 20,000 people participated in a peace march in San Francisco. The demonstration began at Dolores Park and ended at the city hall. Many causes were featured on posters. At Dolores Park, the International ANSWER Organization was handing out two types of posters for those who came to the demonstration empty-handed. This poster was one of those posters. The poster has a white background and is one sided. In red, there is a figure holding up a sign. On the figure there are white letters which state "Palestine Will Be Free." On the large red flag that takes up most of the top of the poster, there are white letters which say "STOP Bush's War at Home and Abroad." To the left of the red figure there are black letters which spell out ANSWER "Act Now to Stop War & End Racism." To the right of the figure, in larger black letters there is a plea for the "U.S. OUT of the Middle East!" Below that demand is a phone number: (415) 821-6545. And the bottom of the poster has the website for the ANSWER organization: www.InternationalANSWER.org.
