On April 20 2002, approximately 20,000 people participated in a peace march in San Francisco. The demonstration began at Dolores Park and ended at the city hall. Many causes were featured on posters. This poster is unique because it was hand-made. On one side the poster board features a cloud background. Written in magic marker are the words, PEACE THROUGH JUSTICE. There are yellow and mauve marker streaks to help illuminate the words on this side of the poster. On the other side of the poster there is definitely an even more makeshift look. In black and red the poster's slogan, End the Occupation Now, is written. The background is white. The Occupation refers to the Isreali occupation of Palestine.
