Iconic to Ironic: Fashioning California Identity, Mar. 15, 2003 to Sept. 21, 2003

In the background are four archery butts with figures indicating the year when the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition will be held." Photo shows eight women standing in a row posing with their bows stretched in their left arms and their rights arms pulling back the string. In the backgroun in front of the school buildings are four targets that spell out "1939." Found in Tribune envelope marked "Fashion, sports costume."
