Image is a head-shot of Tangee Alvarez, wife of Everett Alvarez, a Vietnam prisoner-or-war. There are two captions pasted on the back of the image that read:
a) Tangee Alvarez waited a long time. -October 11, 1972
b) Tangee Alvareez, married despite divorce. "I am very proud to once have been his wife." -Feb. 20, 1973.
The captions are referring to her divorce from POW husband in 1973- after waiting many years for his return.
Everett Alvarez was the longest held POW during the Vietnam War- of any POW in any American war.
