Handwritten on the back of the photo, "One of the most, Gloria Swanson." Photo shows Swanson standing on a rock overlooking the ocean wearing a checkered bathing costume, lace-up boots, and a hat with a large bow on top. She's smiling and holding out the skirt of the costume with her right hand in front of her. Found in Tribune envelope marked "Fashion, bathing costume"
