This is an original movie poster for the John Wayne film "The Green Berets." At the top, in black lettering "The toughest fighting force on earth--and the men who led them had to be just a little bit tougher...The Green Berets" with an pencil sketches of John Wayne and co-star David Janssen. Below this is a highly stylized combat scene in pick and orange of soldiers running toward explosions and helicopters flying overhead. At the bottom is all of the credit information on the stars and director of the film. On the back is what appears to be a stamp in red ink that says "68 155" which could be the year the poster was made and the number of the poster in a sequence. Also written on the back is "Green Berette[sic]" in red pen and "$5" and "350" written in pencil, assumed to be prices for the poster at one time.
