Also listed on the front cover are the topics: The Roots of Commitment, Toward Peace With Honor, The Tasks of Diplomacy, The Tasks of Defense, the Challange of Human Need. There is a letter from LBJ explaining the purpose of the booklet on the second page. Following the table of contents is a brief introduction that includes letters from past Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy. The booklet is 31 pages long.
