Low bowl of white clay. The interior of the bowl features a pale yellow glaze which Heino has developed. The glaze is patterned after an Ancient Chinese glaze, a glaze color that is difficult to achieve. Bowl exterior is black; black slip wraps around the rim, forming a narrow border. The yellow interior of the bowl has additional glazes of red, blue, and black, with an area of grey formed by the other colors. (Per SB, gift agreement)
