A: Dress of natural colored silk with a woven window pane pattern long sleeves; jewel neckline. Dress has double, floating panel of embroidered fabric to match item "B." B: Duster-style sleeveless coat made of Indian embroidered silk with flora, leaf and paisley motifs in maroon, black, green, gray and ivory thread. Garment fastens at center fron with two domed metallic gold buttons and handmade folded silk tab-style buttonholes. Hem takes advantage of plain, broad border with a few spaced motifs.

This garment was made for Sandra Sakata's shop, Obiko, in San Francisco. It was shown in a fashion show for the San Francisco Craft and Folk Art Museum, Fort Mason. The artist gave it to the donor.
