CORKA bottom right in black paint
Label on back reads, "Corka, 2912 Newbury Street, Berkeley 3, CA." Double label - same wording on top and bottom.

Image shows a man painting a woman with an instrument (possibly a mandolin?) He leans forward with his paintbrush to paint her right hand. He holds a pallette. A stool is to the left. Painter's back is to the viewer. To the right of the painter is a large abstract image of the same woman holding the same instrument. This appears to be a play on abstraction with the model being abstract and the painting being realist rather than vice versa.
