Souvenir satin pillow sham, decorated with multi-colored fringe on all four sides. Printed on the proper right (front) side is a spray of red roses. "Mother" and the message: "A little token of my love, to one who is so dear And in my heart beloved one, I'll always have you near." "Camp Pendelton, Calif. is printed across the bottom. The back is chartreuse colored rayon.

This 1940s pillow sham was purchased as a lot of two (on E-Bay) by the donor. The other pillow sham was given to an aunt whoes son, from Camp Pendelton, is serving in the war in Iraq.
