Caption on photo: "10313. H.H. Ag. Dumbarton Pipe Line Bridge -- looking west. 4-22-26." Back of photo: July 21, 1928. Photograph by City Engineer San Francisco. Pipeline bridge -- not car bridge. Large pipe stretching across bay in trestle on cement(?) pilings. Along the right side of the bridge appear to be extension poles that go out over the water at regulated intervals for its entirety. There is a barge with men beneath bridge, 3d pillar from right in photo. Near this barge is an extension/platform of the bridge(?) with a light and "cross" on top. Another barge to left of bridge and a ship/boat to right of bridge closer to western shore. Fog/mist obscures hills at top of photo. There appear to be structures near the western shoreline.
