From back of photo: "March K. Fong; Fong - 1x3" cut to Hope - (published) October 20, 1968" This appears to be an official photograph. Ms. Fong is seated at a library table -- there are many shelves of books behind her of the type that contain oficial records. She is wearing a black/navy dress with a high neckline and 3/4 sleeves. She is also wearing three strands of white pearls that graduate in size -- smallest at the unseen clasp to very large in the front then smaller back to the clasp. Her left hand is over her right hand. On her left ring finger are what appear to be two rings: a narrow gold band and the other with a large square stone (diamond?) that sits above the band. She is looking to one side of the photographer. She is wearing a dark shade of lipstick and looks serious -- her mouth is closed - but not unfriendly. Her dark hair covers her ears and is in a bouffant -- teased full - style.
