From back of photo: "Sect. of State March Fong Eu speaking at Oak. Chinese Community Council Dinner. March 19, 1991." Ron Riesterer. Mrs. Eu is standing at a podium in front of a microphone and speaking. She is in a room and at least three men are in the photo also. Mrs. Eu is wearing a colored (not black, white or navy) suit with dark piping along the lapels and neckline. The collar on the suit stands up. There is a flower (carnation?) affixed just below her left shoulder with a straight pin. Her visible earring is a white "pearl" circled in gold. Her wavy dark hair is below her ears and done in a bouffant/teased style. She has no bangs. She is also wearing (half) glasses without rims on the upper part of the lenses. Her mouth is slightly open and her hands appear to rest on the podium. On the left side of the photo is a portion of the podium in a grained wood. The curved sides are visible. A man's head is visible on the other side of the podium. He has a moustache, thinning hair and is looking at Mrs. Eu. He could be Asian. Behind and across from him is another man in a dark suit, white shirt, glasses and a full head of hair. He is out of focus. Next to him is an Asian man in a gray? suit, white shirt and dark? tie. He appears to be bald on top with hair around his head. He appears to be holding a glass of some sort in his left hand. Behind Mrs. Eu is a vase or some sort of decoration with flowers on it.
