Mattress and cover for ship berths. Mattress has a cotton ticking cover of blue and white stripes. Over it is a white cotton cover. Found in the US Navy Ship General Nelson M. Walker. The last transports done by the ship were to bring troops to and from Vietnam into Oakland, CA, before it was taken out of service in 1967. This is a collection of artifacts found on the ship after it was taken out of service.
